All Youth Island facilities

Our largest room on the Youth Island is located in the middle of the island. The hangar consists of two large compartments connected by three large openings in the wall in the middle. The two rooms can be combined by many participants or divided up with a curtain if you want the professional for yourself and catering / group rooms on the other side. One side is covered in windows, which give the room a nice light, while at the opposite end there are hung canvases for projects. The hangar measures 230 m2 and can accommodate up to 200 participants in rows of chairs.

Hangar C has two projectors, two screens and a full speaker sound system.

The unique old rocket workshop, where tangible memories of the island's past as part of Denmark's defense are still seen. The room has direct access to the outdoors on one side and access to the fort's winding underground passages on the other. The room measures 110 m2 and can accommodate up to 90 participants in rows of chairs.

I Foodlab findes 6 køkkenstationer samt et lille industrikøkken. Køkkenet ligger i den tidligere Hangar B og står med rå betonvægge. Foodlab er helt perfekt til en sjov teamaktivitet, hvis I skal lave kokkeskole, muffin-pyntning, cocktail-kursus eller måske noget helt andet. Lokalet måler 155m2 og har plads til op til 100 personer.

Vores Foodlab er delt op i seks mindre stationer, som kan lejes enkeltvis. De fungerer godt, hvis man eksempelvis overnatter i shelter, men ikke ønsker at lave mad over bål.

Foodlabstationen indeholder to kogeblus, køkkenvask og en kasse med køkkenudstyr. Kassen indeholder blandt andet gryde, pande, skærebræt, knive, grydeskeer og skål. I Foodlab er der også en fælles ovn og service, som kan benyttes af alle, der har lejet adgang til Foodlab.

The amphitheater is built in the largest remaining gun emplacement on the island. With a campfire in the center and seating for 200 people, the amphitheater is ideal for larger gatherings. Here you are fairly protected from the wind and can gather for workshops, evaluations, presentations and campfire fun.

Vores gamle kanonstillinger er en unik ramme for jeres aktivitet, bålhygge, workshop, dansegulv eller noget helt femte. De danner et helt særligt rum, hvor man bogstaveligt talt kan dykke ned i fællesskabet og føle sig isoleret, mens livet på øen fortsætter rundt om én.

Der er kanonstillinger rundt på hele øen, og de findes i både store størrelser og helt ned i de små, intime rum.

There are 3 dormitories with room for 8 people on the first floor of Ungdomsøen. Keys to the dormitories can be provided, and it is of course possible to purchase extra duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels.

Vågn op til bølgeskvulp i Ungdomsøens havn i en af vores 4-personers sovesale med udsigt til over Øresund til København. Værelset er indrettet med rampe over dørtrinnet, boksmadrassenge og stort badeværelse med toiletstøtte for at imødekomme kørestolsbrugere.

Der er 2 sovesale med plads til 4 personer på Ungdomsøens førstesal. Der kan udleveres nøgler til sovesalene, og det er naturligvis muligt at tilkøbe dyner, puder, sengelinned og håndklæder.
