EXPLORE THE ISLAND, HISTORY, LIFE ON THE ISLAND

On a guided tour of Ungdomsøen, you’ll be led by a young guide with in-depth knowledge of the island. They will present Ungdomsøen from their perspective, share historical facts, and tell you about their own memories and dreams. Each tour is completely unique — even if you’ve joined one before, there’s always something new to discover on your next visit.

DEMOCRACY, COLLABORATION, COURAGE TO ACT

The Island Council is a collaborative activity that invites participants into a shared space for reflection through play. It will strengthen your negotiation skills and lay the foundation for future healthy dialogues. Divided into three groups, you’ll build the society you dream of. You’ll gain insight into which values and rights matter to you as individuals and as a community, how to make important decisions, and how to celebrate when things don’t neccessarily go as planned. By the end of the activity, you’ll have a foundation for a safer and more collaborative work environment that you can continue to develop once you get back on the mainland.

The Island Council was developed in collaboration with young people from Ungdomsøen’s community.

COMPETITION, EXERCISE, STRATEGY

Are you ready for battle?! Lasertag is a high-intensity game that trains both your body and your teamwork skills. You’ll be divided into two teams and compete against each other in Ungdomsøen’s secret tunnels using laser guns. Each team is given a flag that the opposing team must try to capture without being hit by lasers. With adrenaline pumping through your body, you’ll explore the best hiding spots in the old fortress while strengthening your team spirit. The activity takes place indoors, and it is advised to wear clothing suitable for active movement.

HISTORY, COMPETITION, PLAY

Dive into Ungdomsøen’s history as a military fortress through a game of capturing the enemy! You’ll be divided into two teams and must use tactics, teamwork, and speed to take over the opposing base and capture their flag. The game will take you across the island’s terrain while exploring its past as Middelgrundsfortet, with players taking on roles from the army, navy, and air force. Stratego can be played both indoors and outdoors, so wear practical clothing for moving around.

Our Historical Military Stratego was developed in collaboration with young people from Ungdomsøen’s community.

Group size: Minimum 20 people, maximum 60 people

COMMUNITY, NATURE, COMPETITION

Ungdomsøen’s selection of classic outdoor garden games provides fresh air for both your body and mind. Challenge your friends or colleagues to a game of Kubb, giant Jenga, or croquet.

You can see the full selection and borrow outdoor games at the kiosk.

NATURE, COMMUNITY, RELAXATION

Feel the presence of the flames and get to know each other through your best campfire jokes and stories. You can light a campfire for coziness or as a part of an outdoor activity. When you’ve found a special spot for your bonfire, you can rent smaller, mobile fire pits in the kiosk. Firewood is also available for purchase at the kiosk along with fire starters and matches.

AKTIV, HAVNEN, NATUR

Test balancen og dine evner på usikkert underlag med Ungdomsøens stand-up paddleboards. Det er både for nybegyndere og øvede, så længe du ikke er bange for at blive våd. Brug af Ungdomsøens paddleboards er på eget ansvar og må kun ske i Ungdomsøens havn. Man skal være over 18 år for at leje Ungdomsøens paddleboards.

Antal: Fire paddleboards

Pris: 175 kroner per board. Prisen dækker leje at paddleboardet i én time.

Paddleboards udlejes i kiosken.

AKTIV, HAVNEN, NATUR

Oplev Ungdomsøens havn fra vandet i en af vores kajakker. Vi har både havkajakker og sit-on-top-kajakker, så der er noget for både nybegyndere og øvede kajakroere. Kajakkerne må bruges i Ungdomsøens havn, og det er på eget ansvar. Man skal være over 18 år for at leje en kajak på Ungdomsøen.

Antal: 10 kajakker i varierende størrelser

Pris: 175 kroner per kajak. Prisen gælder for én times leje.

Kajakkerne udlejes i kiosken.

AKTIV, HAVNEN, NATUR

Husk badetøjet, når I besøger Ungdomsøen! På den vestlige del af øen har vi nemlig vores egen lille sandstrand. Her kan I sole jer, svømme om kap med kollegaerne eller springe på hovedet fra en af vores udspringsvipper. Det er også den ende af havnen med mindst bådtrafik. Ungdomsøen har ikke livreddere, men der sidder redningskranse og oplyste redningsstier hele vejen rundt langs havnen. Badning foregår på eget ansvar, og vi henviser til Trygfondens fem baderåd.

Vi anbefaler, at I altid er minimum to sammen, når I bader.

I må bade lige så længe, I har lyst, men når mørket bryder frem, skal I gå i land.
